Towards Validation of Forecast For Cholera in Haiti

The Ascel Bio Carribean Infectious Disease Forecast Center, which is aligned with the US National Infectious Disease Forecast Center, produced an operational forecast nearly 5 months in advance of a pattern we are now noting in the north of Haiti. We are still in the process of following the situation and collecting data, but even we are surprised with how temporally "tight" the forecast was.
