A survey carried out at the Bellanton IDP camp located just due west of Savane Blonde identified cases of non-specified diarrheal disease, vomiting, febrile illness, individuals with sore eyes and women with vaginal infections suspected to be caused from exposure to contaminated water. The IDP camp at this location houses 580 families and is reported to be experiencing shortages of shelter-building material, food and clean water.
